Buzz Multiplex: Eyeing Hannah

Last week was pretty much boys' weekend out in the Buzz Multiplex. This weekend... well, the boys might still want to come out for leading stars Cyrus, Alba, and Longoria Parker. Just watch out for squealing teens with blonde wigs getting underfoot.
1. "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert." As we reported earlier, you can forget getting tickets. Ignore the nearly five-fold advantage the 3D movie has over all other premieres. The limited release only has a week's run, and Disney reportedly remains mum about any extensions or DVD release dates. In fact, forget about what you just read. We suggest a nice game of Scrabble.
2. "The Eye" (PG-13). When Japan stops making horror films, Hollywood will be in trouble. The latest adaptation stars Jessica Alba as a blind violinist who gets a supernatural transplant. Hannah Montana may blindside this shrieker in box office, but the mother-to-be reaps more searches than Hannah and/or Miley Cyrus.
3. "Strange Wilderness" (R) A promising premise (a wilderness TV show ratings loser chases Bigfoot), and pedigree (Adam Sandler and Broken Lizard comedy group) pull in the male interest. Don't let the third-place ranking fool you: The comedy's right on the Search heels of "The Eye," and resonates with more states. The only box office handicap may lie in its R rating, which shuts out 16% of the buzz.
Also spiking on the Buzz marquee... The darkly strange plot—Eva Longoria Parker haunting her fiancé and his new psychic squeeze—hasn't pulled in big searches for "Over Her Dead Body" (PG-13). Then again, sounds like an entire season of "Desperate Housewives."
