Buzz Multiplex: Meet the Rambo

This might not be a bad weekend to catch up on Oscar nominees, or those who should've been contenders... unless you're a teenage boy or a man nostalgic for an '80s action star.
1. "Meet the Spartans" (PG-13). The parody follows nearly a year later after its inspiration splattered across screens. One of out five searches hail from teenage boys, who are interested in the original as well as similar classics like "Epic Movie" and "Scary Movie 5." Speaking of "Scary," star Carmen Electra rakes in double the buzz, with castmates Kevin "Hercules" Sorbo and Method Man getting Search nods.
2. "Rambo" (R). Older, grumpier, and armed with more manpower, renegade Vietnam vet John Rambo returns for his fourth go-round 20 years later. Ensconced in the top 2,000 searches this week, the film, written and directed by growly star Sylvester Stallone, isn't just any shoot-em-up. Audiences are actually interested in quality, as searches for "rambo reviews" may attest. Stallone has inspired a small career retrospective ("sylvester stallone biography") and opened a Buzz trickle-gate for fellow '80s blockbuster action stars like Dolph Lungren, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. For more recent buzz interest, look no further than co-star Julie Benz ("Angel," "Dexter").
3. "Untraceable" (R). A serial killer with an URL makes for a 21st-century thriller plot, but the buzz love belongs to Diane Lane (aka "diane lane hot") as the investigating FBI agent. The villain's site, killwithme.com, has also shot up 700%. Unlike the other two releases, the concept draws a 50-50 gender split, making this the bloodthirsty date movie of the week. Also coming up in Buzz noteworthiness: co-star Colin Hanks, perhaps best known for a "Roswell" stint... or as Tom Hanks' son. Trust me... this is not your father's movie.
Also spiking on the Buzz Marquee... a tiny bump for dance flick "How She Move."
