Sometime during the latest buzz about the newest Harry Potter (HP) book and movie, it suddenly struck me: I don’t care!

Not that I was even consciously considering the HP hype, it just happened when I realized I really don’t give a damn what happens in the HP saga - whether he lives or dies in the latest book or if the HP world is destroyed by the dark forces, or not. Whatever.

It’s not that I don’t think JK Rowling is a great writer, or the previous books/movies weren’t great. On the contrary.

I’ve just had enough of HP & Co and don’t think I’ll even see “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” or read “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. Call it Potter saturation or weariness, or what you like, I don’t care.

Enough already! Move on Harry …
