I’ve tried it, it’s a very easy process to start managing your ex-RegisterFly domains at GoDaddy
(yes, I still had one there that I was unable to renew or transfer
):
- In case you need to receive an email, make sure you are able to receive email at the RegisterFly (”RF”) email address you have on record for your domains there. If necessary, login at RF and change it first for all your RF domains;
- Go to GoDaddy
- click on the “Welcome RegisterFly Customers” banner at the top;
It’s official, GoDaddy
is taking over the embattled RegisterFly’s customers. Is that good news or what!
According to the GoDaddy
site:
GoDaddy.com®, the world’s leading domain name registrar, has reached an agreement with RegisterFly® and ICANN® to transfer over RegisterFly’s portfolio of Web site names to GoDaddy.com. The move will help resolve problems involving hundreds of thousands of domain names around the world.
I thing a “hallelujah” or two is in order for those who had domains at RegisterFly and have been unable to renew or transfer them!
Bob Parsons had this to say:
Jakob Nielsen, all-time web usability guru, has come up with a list of (as he calls it) “Usability in the Movies - Top 10 Bloopers”:
- The Hero Can Immediately Use Any UI
- Time Travelers Can Use Current Designs
- The 3D UI
- Integration is Easy, Data Interoperates
- Access Denied / Access Granted
- Big Fonts
- Star Trek’s Talking Computer
- Remote Manipulators (Waldo Controls)
- You’ve Got Mail is Always Good News
- “This is Unix, It’s Easy”
This is funny and a must-read!
